All of the websites we design are made using the most powerful content management system available, namely Joomla! and you benifit from thousands of hours of open source development without having to pay for the coding.

You may ask how we can provide a website which is of a very high standard for R600 incuding a full year's hosting? As for the hosting, as WhatsOnSA has grown, we have needed more and more resources, so once again you benefit from our growth.

Well, it's simple, we have already setup the structure with all of the software already installed and then it's just a matter of customising it to accomodate your information.

We are not selling you the Joomla software, we are merely charging you for the time we spend to install and customise it for you.

WhatsOnSA.co.za is obviously our flagship and something we're very proud of, a very good example of what we can do for you but for more examples, keep reading.

On all pages you will see this:

Click on the drop down menu (arrow), select a template and then click on select

This will change the look and feel of the website, if you find one you like, make a note of it. By clicking a menu item or back button, the default will be restored. In some instances the controls will disappear, where this does happen, just click the back button on your browser.

There are thousands of templates available for Joomla!, some free ad some you will need to pay for, if you find a template elesewhere, we can use that for your website (please ensure that it is a Joomla 1.5 template).

Below is an example of a website for accomodation, this is just a sample site showing how we can revamp your existing website. This website has real information from Feathers Inn, an upmarket B&B and self catering accomodation in Picketberg, up on the West Coast  of the Western Cape. So check out what they have on offer while you are looking around.

Below is a live corporate website we have done for Rita Henn & Partners, if you want something more like this, please email us for a quote but as a rule of thumb, add R75 for each additional page you want.



So what do we would need from you is what you would like your pages / menus to be called and then the text and images you would like to use.as well as your logo.

For venue/artist/band websites, for R50 a month we will keep your gig guide up to date, this will benefit you in two ways

1. You will not need to worry about having to keep your site up to date
2. Your events/gigs will be listed on WhatsOnSA.co.za

Apart from the Rita Henn website, the others can all be done for R600, the only additional cost you would have is for regsitering a domain (http://yourname.co.za) , this is generally R75 - R85 to register, with an annual renewal of about R100 depending on how you do it.

We will also supply you with a tutorial document which will enable you to add information and edit your existig documents yourself. This can be done by anyone who is computer literate and is able to use a document editor.
