In South Africa and Europe ‘Watershed’ is  defined  as the band around songwriter and lead singer Craig Hinds.  They are a popular export  of the ‘Rainbow Nation’.

At various points along the four-decade continuum of George Benson’s career, he has been heralded as a jazz guitarist of unparalleled chops, a vocalist with great emotional range and sophistication or a combination of both. However, he regards himself as an entertainer in the broadest sense of the word – a singer of songs, a spinner of tales. That’s the essence, Songs and Stories.

Thursday dawned hot and humid in Durban!  We welcomed the evening sea breeze from the upper floor of Boogie’s Diner, and the stage was wired to host singer-songwriters Screaming Doc Hansen, Jaspar Lepak and Rowan Stuart.  Grub order placed, iced liquid at the ready, and into an evening of original acoustic music we went.

Formed in 2008, this electrifying six piece rock band is fronted by a female and male lead singer, 2 off the hook guitarists and a kick ass rhythm section with massive groove.
