HPIM7297.JPG Thursday dawned hot and humid in Durban!  We welcomed the evening sea breeze from the upper floor of Boogie’s Diner, and the stage was wired to host singer-songwriters Screaming Doc Hansen, Jaspar Lepak and Rowan Stuart.  Grub order placed, iced liquid at the ready, and into an evening of original acoustic music we went.

The Parlotones, without a doubt the sweethearts of the South African pop rock scene, performed to a full house at Aqua Festival. Aqua Festival is a new festival on a floating stage at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. A beautiful setting with an authentic smell of the sea.
