On the 9th of January 2010 thousands of people across the world were drumming along to a global beat for peace in Sudan... In a heart beat SOUTH AFRICA joined the rhythm.

The beat started in Sudan and was echoed by people from all over the world: from Nairobi to New York, London,Tokyo to Cape Town.

Famous drummers from Radiohead, The Police, Pink Floyd, Snow Patrol and the legendary musicians Mohammed Munir, Yehia Khalil and Mustaffa Tettey Addy are all joining the beat.
