Authentic Ideas and Route 28 Resort; the organisers of the Lucky Fish Music Festival, regret to announce the postponement of this year’s event until September 2010.The Lucky Fish Music Festival was scheduled to take place from 3 – 6 September this year at the Route 28 Resort in Jagfontein, it has now been rescheduled to 2 – 5 September 2010 for economic reasons.
Franschhoek Literary Festival Blessed by Book weather and good ticket sales
The recent Franschhoek Literary Festival (FLF) saw ticket sales up by approximately 50%, and about 3 000 visitors despite the pouring rain.

Investment in the Inner City is booming thanks to the continuous hard work by the Central Johannesburg Partnership (CJP) and the Johannesburg Inner City Business Coalition (JICBC). A study recently completed by the CJP reveals that members of the JICBC have invested nearly R4 billion between 2006 to date in the Inner City of Johannesburg. The study, completed by Hans Jooste, General Manager of the CJP, also indicates that capital investment by the private sector in public space and including joint ventures is sitting at a staggering R27,4 million from 2006 to date. Further investment of R120 million in the public space is planned over the next three years.
