Professor Elizabeth Triegaardt, Executive Director of the Cape Town City Ballet (CTCB) is pleased to announce that the company has been invited to participate in an exciting cultural collaboration arranged by the Paris-based Foundation Sphere, on the French island of Martinique in the Caribbean.

Executive and Artistic Director David Thatanelo April has recently made a decision to broaden his horizons and establish his own Arts Consultancy. He will however continue to work within MIDM by mentoring the staff in fund-raising; training and networking. In the 16 years that April was at MIDM he filled the roles of student, performer, teacher, manager, fund raiser, dance activist, judge, reviewer, choreographer and choreographic advisor of note.
