The Cape Town show was incredible. Very happy it was changed to the Civic Centre on account of the weather. The great man was in top form and the Dennis Bovell band was incredible. Only wished I had the money to fly to durban too! Been waiting to see LKJ in concert for years. Obviously the price of the tickets meant a lot of reggae fans couldn\'t afford to go but the enthusiasm of the crowd was inspiring. Please come back to Cape Town soon. What a show. Music and a lesson in life and history all in one. Mr. Johnson we love you!!
2 Great Show, Great VENUE too!

Just got back from the Cape Town show, and what a great performance. Crowd was awesome, and nobody seemed to be up in arms about the venue change. Did Mandy not notice the rain the past few days? The venue HAD to change to be safe, and complaining about it serves no purpose. Also, calling Wittebome Civic a shoddy venue is insane. I wish more performers would play there, its a great venue for live music. Then again, Mandy's probably never been there!! Great show all around.

Hey Mandy.. i suspect the venue change is cause its been raining here for like 3 days now? I'd rather be indoors and Wittebomme civic is only like 2 mins down the road from the orignal venue. And also, its hardly shoddy.
4 Venue change in Cape Town unacceptable

Chgnaging the venue at the last minute reflects very poorly on PurplHaze Productions. What kind of show are they running to change the venue from Maynardville to Wittebomme Civic Centre the day before the event. the new venue is shoddy. People are up in arms and highly annoyed.

You simply cannot run a professional events company with these sorts of occurrences.

We should all be demanding our money back and the great man LKJ should cancel the show due to lack of professionalism.

Very dissapointed LKJ fan will not be attending any further Purplehaze Productions events.

My friends and I are real LKJ fans and rushed out to buy tickets as soon as we found out about the concert. We paid R205 at computicket for the Grahamstown show. We have since heard that tickets have now been reduced to R100 - is this true? That is not fair that we should pay double. We should be refunded that amount.
